You know, I think I’m going to do the Thirty Day Challenge every year…

I’m learning many new things and besides that, Ed Dale goes over something until he’s sure you’ve got it. Watching and learning from his expertise is awesome. You get to see all the lastest first hand, and as far as I can tell he’s not holding anything back.

Last night, I was watching his video on Google News. Again, something I had never really paid much attention to in the past.

There are really so many uses for Google News just in the everyday business of Internet Marketing.

Go to Google and type in your keyword, then instead of hitting enter, click news. It will bring up every news story that has been created with that phrase in it.

Big deal you say? Well it is and here’s why..

• Say you’ve researched and found a niche that you think will be great BUT you know nothing about it. Going through all the news stories will help you increase your knowledge base huge amounts. Heck, you may learn enough to call yourself an expert
• Perhaps you’ve found a niche that will pay, and it happens to be one you love. That’s great. Maybe you should start a blog about it? Oh wait, how are you going to provide enough content to post quality articles several times a week.
• Keeping up with the latest happenings on any given topic can be a real chore.
• Going through the news articles, will undoubtedly spark some ideas when you’ve got a case of writers block.
• You can not only keep up with all the news stories, you can also keep track of any other blog that posts an entry using that phrase. Helping you keep up with what others are saying on the topic.

I’m sure these are just a few of the many powerful uses for this free feature, and I have never ever used it.

Plus, Ed showed us how to keep track of it in our Bloglines using an RSS feed.

This will save you SO MANY HOURS of research and surfing time.

Simply add the feed into your Bloglines and then check it for the latest every morning with your first cup of coffee!

Off Topic: Maybe this is how some people seem to know everything about everything Second thought.. maybe they just THINK they know it all (oh come on, you know the ones)
