June 1st Already - Time to Review & Revise
Back on May 5th, I set forth business goals that I had hope to get accomplished before the end of June when my kids are out of school for summer.
I am making 3 - 5 business goals that I plan to achieve in that time. I’m even going to post them so you can see how I’m doing.
- Increase my readership on this blog between 30 - 50% for both the month of May and the month of June. I will base this increase on “unique” visitors to my site. How will I accomplish this? You can help me lots. If you enjoy reading this blog, tell your friends about me, and add me to your blogroll.

- Create a business plan for those ideas I have been hinting at for the past few weeks, get it put into place.
- Create an guide or report to help newbie moms.
- Increase my Google PR for the next time page ranks are adjusted in about 3 months time.
I think that’s enough. If I get it accomplished, I will be very pleased.
Unfortunately due to the passing of my dad on May 16, these goals are going to need to be revised a bit. I was unavailable for almost 2 weeks of May, but let’s take a look in review anyway…
1. I did manage to increase my “uniques” by 23% over April.
2. I do have a good start on my business plan though nothing is complete and in report form yet.
3. I didn’t get to create the guide. I’m planning on working on that this summer at the lake.
4. Work is in progress on increasing my Google PR next time they come around.
Overall, I’m pleased with that, considering what our family had to go through last month.
What are your plans for business during the summer months? Does your business slow down? Are you a WAHM that has to try and juggle the kids being home and your work schedule?
Personally, I’m getting so anxious for summer vacation to begin. I’ve already been out to the lake once, and I can hardly wait to pack up and go for more than a weekend. I’m glad I have my laptop and projects planned so I don’t feel guilty taking the time to enjoy.
I can also tell ya that by about mid August I will be singing the “going back to school” chant and ready for schedules and routines to begin again
