Are You Harvesting the Awesome Power Of Facebook?

I see these wind farms when I’m driving out to the lake, and it makes a perfect analogy for the way that Facebook operates.

Facebook is a platform that is overflowing with potential. It doesn’t matter what niche you are involved in, you’ll be able to find people that have the same interests on Facebook.

It seems that everyone is blogging about it these days. How you can use Facebook to increase your potential clients, visitors, readers, community, traffic, name brand, online visibility, client loyalty…. or potential whatever else you’d like to increase. Whew, that was a mouthful.

John Reese’s BlogRush. Launch Date: Tomorrow

John Reese and his crew have been working on a super cool new syndication tool called Blog Rush. They are launching it in beta tomorrow, September 14.

This will be a free service, that will help drive traffic to your site.

Once you’ve signed up for this service and placed the widget on your site, every time a page is loaded this widget will be displayed. It will show 5 blog posts with relevant content and a reference to the blog title or author’s name. When your reader clicks on the link, they will be taken to that additional content. The posts of course will open in a new window so they will stay on your blog as well. :)

The points that sounded really cool to me are that

  • My Blog Posts will be showing on this widget on other blogs, bringing more traffic to me.
  • When people sign up to Blog Rush through the widget being displayed on my site, I will earn more syndication credits.
  • Because the referral process goes 10 levels deep, it will provide me with huge leverage.

This is going to be another huge web 2.0 tool. You can check out the complete details on Income.com.

As a blog reader it’s all about information, this widget will provide that information for the reader in a natural order as it relates to what they are already looking at.

You can bet that I’ll be at the launch tomorrow, getting my widget and displaying it proudly on Home with Heather.

Are you ready for a Blog Rush?

Expect the Best,

Converstation Domination: Learn How to Lead ANY Conversation in ANY Niche

O.K. - I’m just gonna start out by saying you need to go and download this report now. :)

This no-cost video and PDF report was just released last weekend at the Authority Summit, Bend the Web by Jack Humphrey and Howie Schwartz.

I wanted to have this post up for you early today, but to be honest I’ve been enthralled in going through it myself. Jack and Howie show you how to dominate ANY conversation in ANY niche at ANY time.

When I say dominate I mean like 10 pages in Google. I watched a video this morning where Howie did a case study on the term “Squidoo Slap” and showed how the first 100 results listed in Google were put there by him. That’s amazing.

I’m a big fan of Jack Humphrey. Jack is a great teacher of Web 2.0 and how it works. I’m sure you’ve already got a copy of his Authority Black Book. That report changed the way webmasters and bloggers looked at putting out content.

Bend the Web just takes it all a step further and shows you how to dominate your niche by controlling the conversation.

Hands down get more targeted visitors to your site without paying for links, and without paying for PPC. Learn how to Bend the Web exactly how you’d like it, and lead your visitors to you.

Short post, but I’ve got to get to work. :) I’ll do a more detailed review on what I’ve found out over the next few days. In the meantime, if you want even more check out this Web 2.0 Traffic Training!

Expect the Best,

Are You Curious How SquidWho Can Help You Increase?

SquidWho is the new “front door” to the outrageously popular Squidoo (see: Pardon Me? SquidWhat… SquidWho). I really like what Seth had to say as to why he launched SquidWho, everyone is notable for something. If they’re notable to you, go and make a lens on them.

How can this cool new tool be used to help you increase?

Squidwho is really still just in it’s infancy. Over the coming months, if it’s anything like Squidoo, it will go viral and gain momentum in a huge way.

Are You Using Your Time Wisely when Social Bookmarking? These are My Top Picks

I’m sure there are literally thousands of social bookmarking and social networking sites available. One could spend the entire day submitting entries and not even begin to get to all of them.

The problem is that no one has an entire day to devote to social bookmarking, so what do you do. Well, you find the ones that suit your niche. Granted there are some bookmarking sites that are very general, but many are very niche specific.

Blog Catalog - another great web 2.0 site

Spending time social networking is something that I try to do each day.  In fact, it would be easy for me to spend the entire day on social networks, reading other blogs and commenting.  Time can just fly away… but we’ll deal with that on another blog post. Read the rest of this entry »

Are You a Button Pusher?

If you are many blogger would like to say thank you. :D

I’m talking about the Digg Buttons, the Bumpzee button, the PlugIM Buttons, and the Sphinn buttons.

Now I don’t think you should start surfing around all willie nillie just clicking every button you see. But if you like an article or a post - give it a click.

Most times people will click buttons for the major league bloggers like Jack Humphrey. (Jack doesn’t want or need anymore readers anyway, and if you do stop by make sure it’s at your allowed time  ) I think it’s good to give them a click, and I often do myself.

But what about the smaller blogs? The whole point of having those buttons is to show that people like reading a post and to help the blog climb in popularity.

More Button Clicks=More Page Views

I’m learning to do more social networking everday. Since I’ve been back from holidays, I try and stumble articles that I like, or give them a digg, or click whatever buttons they have.

It helps the other blogger (that’s how we get the word “networking”). But it also helps you by building a portfolio of sorts on the network sites of articles that you like.

I also noticed something…

It’s true for me, and I’m sure it’s true for many others. I try to see who’s supporting my buttons or helping my articles move along. If I know who gave me a click, I generally try and return the favor IF I like something about what the blogger has to say.

Something to think about on this Tuesday morning. And for heaven sake when your surfing around and you see something you like go ahead and “push their buttons” :D. It might just put a smile on their face…

Expect the Best,
