My Participation

Today is day 25 of the 30 Day Challenge. As normal, we have the weekend off to play catch-up.

At this point, I’m thinking thousands of challengers are taking Ed and Dale up on their mini-challenge and starting from scratch.

For myself, I really started for the first time through the process just last night.

I found a keyword umbrella phrase to use. From all indications, this phrase should get over 100 searches/day if it is in the number one position. It is a bit high on the competing pages show 32000 in Google. But at this late stage, I’m willing to give it a try.

I found 2 affiliate products that I will be testing on it.

I then put up some content via the “gorgeous friend” sites and gave them some love through the “attention getter” sites.

Though at this point, I haven’t seen my pages on the first page of Google, I have had 27 clicks through to one of the affiliate products. This happened in about the first seven hours the page was live (I was busy sleeping ) .

I am eagerly waiting to see what happens. I will continue to add quality content to these to sites over the coming days and carry the process through.

It sure would be nice to have a sale before Monday as part of the mini-challenge.

UPDATE :SHOCK: Saturday 8/25

I just went to check my pages on Google, and less than 24 hours after my first page went live, I’m in the 6th position for the chosen umbrella phrase.

The Process

I’m know that many challengers and first time marketers will agree with me. Even though there have been some blips on the radar screen, problems with sheer volume of traffic really (wouldn’t it be could to have that kind of problem ), participating in this process has been phenomenal.

The amount of free information that has been handed out over the past 25 days has been eye opening. Newbies and old timers have worked through the same process and all got something out of it.

And so I ask.. Does the Challenge really end in 5 days? And the answer is simply No.

We have only just begun.

Or at least I have just begun. The lessons learned this month will be put into my efforts from here out. I have been in a bit of a slump over the summer months. This challenge has given me the kick in the pants I need. I’m excited again.

Monday starts the last week of the challenge. We still have to go through everything on product creation. This is not an area that I’ve ever dabbled in, so the learning should be intense.
