Blog Catalog - another great web 2.0 site
Spending time social networking is something that I try to do each day. In fact, it would be easy for me to spend the entire day on social networks, reading other blogs and commenting. Time can just fly away… but we’ll deal with that on another blog post.
I was spending some time on MBL yesterday, when one of my friends Susanne (awesome photography blog) asked me for help regarding myspace. She had just signed up and account and wasn’t sure how it worked. I was happy to help her of course, but in the conversation she mentioned ‘BC’. So I asked her what is BC. She said BlogCatalog. I went over to join, and it turned out I’ve been a member since January of this year. I must have registered and then completely forgot about it. 
BlogCatalog (as I’m sure you already know) is another excellent resource in meeting like minded people, networking and sharing ideas. On the Home page, this is what is says:

Blog Catalog is the premiere social blog directory on the internet. Whether you’re looking to promote your own blog or find blogs on various topics, this site is for you.
So, I have updated my account. Later today when I have a bit more time to play, I will head over and spend some time. Add some friends, check out some blogs, that sort of thing… you know “feed my addicition” LOL

As for feed my addiction of social networking, that’s a whole other post that I plan to write a bit later in the week so stay tuned

BlogCatalog must be indexed as a blog directory. The big business I work for blocks social networks, but BlogCatalog is not blocked.

I just started using Blog catalog I don’t know how well it’s worked out for me yet because I haven’t spent much time promoting my site but I will try it out soon
