May 1st is a Big Anniversary!
Do you know what it is?
It’s the first anniversary of Blogtipping! What is blogtipping you ask?
Well the actual definition put out one year ago on the very first blogtipping day is this:
It’s Blogtipping Day! The first calendar day of each month will be a special day for sneaking up behind three other bloggers and giving them each three good compliments and a gentle “tip.” If they happen to fall over, that’s just part of the fun! And hopefully a good habit of reaching out to encourage someone else will prevail.
Blogtipping was started by businessblogwire.com.
How do you go blogtipping?
It’s very simple, pick three bloggers you know. Publish a post linking to them, and give them three compliments and one gentle tip.
I’m sure you could change it up a bit if you want. The whole idea of going tipping is to put a little bright spot in someones day. Nope, you don’t do blogtipping for the same reason as cowtipping, although this should be fun too! ;)
