Happy New Year - Sorry I’m a bit late to the Party!
Well it’s already January 6th. Amazing how time flies. I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and that you are all off to a great start for love, prosperity and happiness in 2008.
Since I wrote my last post Perspective, my life has been on a bit of a roller coaster ride. My son had started to recover nicely from surgery, and then BAM he started having a crazy amount of seizures. We’ve made several trips to the Emergency room over the Christmas holidays trying to get it under control through medication adjustments.
I’m very happy to report that I think we finally have it under control and in fact I’m fully intending to send him off to school in the morning.
As you can imagine Christmas was a bit strange for us this year, but it’s all good. I’m kinda glad it’s over and that we can start back to routines and normal. I can count on one hand how many times I’ve left my house over the past month and not been heading to a doctor. So tomorrow, I’m planning on taking off. Don’t know where really, and I don’t care… just out!
In my last blog, I was also talking about changes that I was planning on making. My intent was actually to put Home with Heather up for sale. I just wasn’t feeling that this is where I should be spending my time.
I’ve decided not to do that right away. I love Home with Heather, and all the great people I have met because of it. The look and purpose of the blog may be shifting a bit over the next while, and I hope you can bear with me through this period of growth and change.
It’s the start of a new year. I have MUCH to catch up on. I haven’t even had time to visit my favorite blogs.
Again I’ve been getting an overwhelming amount of support and concern from you my readers. Thank you so very much for your caring and concern. I did get to read those and it always lifted my spirits and made me smile.
I wish you a year of much health, wealth, happiness, friends and family.

Expect the Best,

Hi Heather,
Great to see you back. Sorry to hear about your son’s problems. Hope he does really well in the new year.
I’d suggest you not to sell home with heather. If you’re planning to get some cash by selling this website, it’s a different issue. If you get a good offer, and if you’re in need of money, you can go ahead by all means. But if you’re selling it because you have no time for this, you have a choice. You can cut down the number of posts to your convenience. May be once or twice a week? You’re not gonna lose your readers anyway and your blog will continue to grow, though at a slower pace. JMHO. Wish you a very happy new year and I wish you success in everything this year.

Hi Heather,
I second Kris’s welcome back and wish you also a belated happy new year. I was wondering where you were and now I know. Glad to get your son back onto the road to being better. I can’t possible imagine what you must have gone through.
Hope you will find a way to make you happy in regards to your onward journey.
