Monday Morning Rambling
O.K. - I don’t mean to be a whiner… but it is really freakin cold here!! Highways are closing, travel not recommended. Right now outside it is -28 C but with the wind it is -44 C 
Most of the schools in the area are closed. My kids schools didn’t close, but I’m not sending them anyway.
I guess on a brighter note, I should be very thankful that I don’t have to go out of the house today to a ‘job’ . I felt really sorry for the radio annoucers that had to be into work for 5:00 this morning… they sounded pretty cold.
Good day to stay home keep warm, and keep blogging. 
I can’t get out of my driveway right now anyway…
Anyone want to come and shovel for me??

Oh my GAWD, woman! That is COLD!! Come visit me - it’s 61 degrees F here in Alabama today!!! It’s gorgeous out - perfect weather for a Birthday picnic in the park!

What a wonderful way to celebrate your birthday — maybe this is our new diet. I have heard that if your body has to fight to keep warm that it uses more calories… so maybe while you were shovelling snow you were doing a good thing - losing weight.. lol
however I hope you also enjoy the fudge brownie cake that I am delivering for your birthday - just to make you feel more in the spirit. and to get rid of the snow blues.. LOVE YOU … mom and have a Happy Birthday

Wow; I’ve never seen so much snow in my entire life. Sigh; I live in a temperate country where the temperature is always soaring. The snow looks great on picture, but I can only imagine how it feels to be there. Freaking cold.
The only problem is, when it’s so cold, you don’t feel like getting up from the bed at all. At least, I feel that way.

It is a lot of snow. Took me the better part of the day to shovel the drifts from my driveway. You could only stay outside for 5 minutes or your exposed skin would freeze today.
Certainly wasn’t the kind of snow day you wanted to take the kids outside and build a snowman :LOL:
Should warm up later this week.

Around here we always say if you don’t like the weather wait 10 minutes. Well in this case it took a few days, but our temp will reach 0 Celsius today. Whoo hooo
